Background
|
Alectinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that decreases tumor cell viability in multiple cell lines harboring ALK fusions, amplifications, or activating mutations. The major active metabolite of Alectinib, M4, showed similarity in vitro potency and activity. Received accelerated approval in the US (2015), followed by regular approval in 2017.
